That is why one Serbian man has dedicated his life to assisting the neighborhood’s street animals. Goran Marinkovic walks around Kraljevo with food in his backpack to feed the many stray animals in need…
When he went to see them in March of 2020, he discovered an unexpected surprise: a puppy lying next to a shoe.
“I heard crying coming from the rocks as I passed along a tiny trail. She was hungry and thirsty, and she was freezing. I was hungry, so I gave her salami right away.”
The man adopted the little puppy and named him Smesten.
Goran carried the pupper home, and he began to feel and look much better as a result of all the love, food, and attention he received.
He’s currently feeding over 100 cats and dogs, which is insane. “I save endangered animals who live on the streets,” Goran explained. I care for animals because I adore them; I adore all creatures equally, cats, dogs, and others…” “I feed animals on the street who don’t get food from humans and have no owners,” Goran explained.
Their numbers continue to rise.” It’s heartbreaking to learn that individuals are abandoning their pets and throwing them into the streets. The dog’s life was spared by kindness, compassion, and consideration. It’s all because of wonderful people like Goran.
Coco’s Life Is Now Completely Different
Smesten is unrecognizable after six months. He grew up to be a lovely, friendly, and loving dog who was full of energy, healthy, and eager for adventures.
Marinkovic took the dog, which he subsequently called Coco, to the veterinarian. Coco fought to rebuild her strength despite being on her alone through a difficult period.
Marinkovic then reached out to other local and international animal rescuers. Coco would eventually travel to Germany to join her new family. You’d never guess this lovely dog was once a little puppy protecting himself with a shoe.
