Friendship knows no bounds. A cat and a dog can get along swimmingly, a dog can befriend a fox, and a monkey can cheerfully play with a lion.
This type of friendship is not unusual to see. A Chihuahua born with no front legs and a rescued chicken are the subjects of this story. The two have formed a deep friendship and are now inseparable. It’s pure and lovely, with the ability to warm cold hearts. Continue to scroll!
Roo is the Chihuahua’s name. Penny the chicken, who was also rescued by Alicia Williams, became great friends with the two-legged canine.
Roo was discovered in a ditch by Alicia. At the time, the puppy was very cold, possibly abandoned by a backyard breeder. The puppy was born without front legs.
Alicia rescued Penny as well. The cute fluffy chicken was a “experimental fowl” who would have most likely been killed. Fortunately, Alicia came to the rescue and offered her a home.
Penny and Roo have always had a natural friendship. At the Duluth Animal Hospital in Georgia, where Alicia works, the two play together. From having a nap to wandering in the snow, they are always together.
Penny has passed away since the story was published, but her adorable chick, Pippa, has become buddies with Roo.
