Greta had lost her beloved puppy and had never felt happier. So she decided to adopt another puppy named Duncan to help her heal her shattered heart.
Duncan was a shelter dog that used to live with an animal control officer in Chicago’s northern suburbs. His former owners were cruel to him and abandoned him. He was discovered as a stray and taken to the shelter.
Greta realized she hadn’t made a mistake when she took the dog home because Duncan appeared to be a really humorous and enthusiastic puppy. Duncan was instantly smitten by his new owner. When they went on a walk, he enjoyed playing with water, but he detested baths and swimming. When the dog was taken out in the rain or snow, he began to eat snow and lick the raindrops as if he were a child.
However, he disliked other animals. Greta’s cat, Coco Bubbles, was the only one who could attract him, and the two became friends. The dog acted like a genuine mama, thus the cat didn’t belong to Greta. They did everything together, and Greta was overjoyed to see her two cherished dogs having so much fun together.
