Blossom was in terrible shape when she was adopted by the WOOF Family Pet Rescue Culture in Oklahoma.
On the patio of an abandoned house, the melancholy canine was discovered. A handful of residents tried to catch her so they could learn about her assistance, but she was able to hold them off. Eventually, a woman named Erika contacted Pet Rescue, and some personnel arrived to assess the issue.
Bloom refused to cooperate with the rescue team, so they tried to catch her.
“It wasn’t an easy catch; she didn’t want to be on the catch-pole and fought us all the way to the dog crate that we had waiting,” WOOF wrote on Facebook. “But once protected in the crate, she settled down, and by the time we got to BARK, she was happy to be near us and, while still cautious, seemed unwinded enough to enjoy some human call.”
They possessed the capacity to safely transport Blossom to the rescue’s key centers at some point. The on-site veterinarian discovered a severe case of mange, but the good news is that the dog did not sustain any serious injuries. The veterinarian determined that she would recover completely with a lot of love and care.
Animal Rescue’s team bathed her after the doctor’s visit. This was most likely Blossom’s very first bathroom!
She was a little nervous at first, but she eventually relaxed and began to trust the people who were looking after her. She even started to love the process!
She stayed in the bathtub for a few minutes when they finally offered her a restroom, kicking back and contemplating life… similar to what people do in the shower! Blossom definitely enjoyed her bath because she afterwards resembled a rockstar.
Blossom stayed at the rescue for several weeks longer.
In order to treat her, the nurses had to give her medicinal baths twice a day. Her fur began to spread again, becoming glossy, healthy, and balanced. Blossom began to emerge from her shell throughout her stay– she adored the team member as well as the other shelter canines.
One of the families who assisted in her rescue became her greatest friends.
They checked out as frequently as they could, and they quickly fell in love with her. Blossom enjoyed them as much and looked forward to seeing them whenever they came in for a visit.
After her therapy was completed, the family offered to adopt her! Everyone was ecstatic about the new addition to their family, and Blossom was overjoyed to finally have a forever home.
Blossom is settling in nicely to her new home. She enjoys taking naps on the sofa and playing fetch with her human brother and sisters. I’m sure she still enjoys using the restroom!
Bloom is a lovely puppy that has discovered an amazing home. Take a look at the video below to witness her response to her first restroom experience!
