A generous woman converts her home into a dog hospice, caring for 80 elderly dogs in one go…

Valerie Reid, a woman, could not leave the aging pets to die alone. The woman decided to help these helpless pets by establishing a hospice.

Her home was converted into a hospice. She rescues dogs whose owners have died or who have been abandoned at an animal shelter for an extended length of time.

She also looks after the old canines whose owners have moved into nursing homes. She has rescued around 790 senior dogs.

She now has 80 dogs and 17 full-time employees who work around the clock to care for them.

The woman began this work after witnessing her father’s deterioration and inability to care for the aging dog. She began her endeavor after considering how many such canines remain.

When dogs receive the love and attention they need, they change swiftly. Their house is approximately 3,000 square feet. The elderly dogs’ outbuilding measures 1,700 square feet.

They are a full family that adore each other and never abandon each other in the face of adversity.
