Ashleigh appeared like a skeleton when she brought home an elderly Basset dog named Beignet. But Ashleigh was also concerned about her other 6-month-old Basset Hound puppy, Beefy, falling in love with the elder dog.
However, Ashleigh was mistaken, as her two dogs quickly became buddies. The two wonderful dogs demonstrated that when it comes to loving or caring for someone, age is only a number.
Beignet, a 15-year-old dog, was unable to walk. Beignet became accustomed to Ashleigh taking her dog for walks on a regular basis. And the regular walks were extremely beneficial, as one day the senior dog came along and made everybody happy.
