Rock and roll can never be too old (or too deaf) to enjoy! Boy, a West Highland Terrier, is usually a plodding walker who ignores other dogs barking, but when he heard a rock band playing in a city square, he stunned his owner, Beril Sirmacek, by what he did.
“I was walking my West Highland Terrier, ‘Boy,’ in our town center, where there was a freedom day rock concert,” she explains. Boy began to draw me towards the concert as we drew closer. Boy is already 17 years old, barely hears other dogs barking, staggers owing to stiff legs, and has difficulty standing up.
He began leaping around like crazy to the loud music, perhaps because he was relieved to finally hear or feel it. Instead of watching the rock event, everybody were watching Boy, and kids began to mimic his humorous leaping manner.”
