We really missed them. Then, a few weeks ago, we noticed Bella’s tale in the newspaper, along with the fact that she needed a home, and my little child pushed us to go get her.
We recognize she will require routine vet visits and are willing to cover the costs.
We recognize she is in her later years, but we simply want to provide her with the loving home she deserves, regardless of who she has been with.
On Wednesday, the pair spent time with Bella at the center that has been caring for her. Ms Harper, Bella’s saviour, and her friend Joanne Bellamy were also present at the happy occasion at Radcliffe Animal Centre in Nottingham.
It’s pretty painful seeing Bella since it brings back memories of that terrible day, but we’re pleased to see how she’s been transformed by the RSPCA workers.
She looks like a variety of pets. Her coat is gorgeous, and she is happy and active. Bella was fortunate enough to survive her immersion in the extremely cold water, and it was later revealed that she had a number of complex health and wellness requirements.
Bella Woodworker, the center’s supervisor, commented, “This is the most joyful ending to a story that began so sorrowful, and there were serious questions if Bella could pull through after her terrible ordeal.” With her age and underlying health and wellness concerns working against her, we assumed she wouldn’t make it.
Bella, on the other hand, has fought every day, displaying incredible strength and courage and refusing to give up her struggle for recovery. Charlene Latham, Bella’s previous owner, was sentenced to a 12-month neighborhood order this month after pleading guilty to inducing excessive suffering in her beloved dog. At Nottingham Magistrates Court, she was barred from keeping dogs for three years and fined £80.
