Is there anything cuter than a puppy? A total of sixteen! With their two sons, Dag Christer Lie and his wife Liv raise Basenji puppies in Norway. The pups in the movie are from three distinct litters and love to romp and play with their owners. They playfully surround the child as he crawls over the floor, and they love running after family members both in and out of house!
Dag admits that the cleanup was extensive. “One of the most time-consuming things I performed during this period was wandering around with a bucket, water, cloth, and toilet paper,” he says.
If someone in Norway wants a puppy, they should go to a responsible breeder like Kingwanas, who vets the parents, breeds for temperament and health, and socializes the puppies in a regular environment. Because Norway does not have the same level of homelessness as other countries, there are no overcrowded shelters. In Norway, neutering dogs is illegal, as the procedure is seen unnecessary and potentially detrimental to the animal.
“Lovely caring homes” have been found for all of the Basenji pups.
