Until help comes, a 17-year-old deaf and blind dog keeps a lost child safe… Video attached!

A dog is without a doubt the most devoted companion one can have! These magnificent creatures will risk their lives to save the lives of humans. They display a level of bravery and devotion that is beyond comprehension. And it’s all about what this senior dog did for his younger human sister.

Max, a 17-year-old Blue Heeler mix from Queensland, Australia, has been hailed as a hero for saving the life of a 3-year-old lost girl.

Aurora’s mother assumed her 3-year-old daughter was playing in the backyard, but she was startled when she realized she was missing. Her family feared the worst when the toddler wandered off into the wilderness. So they organized a massive search party to find her.

However, it was a difficult mission. It was approaching dark, and Aurora’s family was growing increasingly concerned because the small girl was just wearing a flimsy T-shirt and her shorts had vanished. They had no idea, however, that the unfortunate girl was not alone.

Max followed his younger sister as she walked away from the house. The rescue crew had been searching for Aurora for over 15 hours and their hopes were beginning to dim when Aurora’s grandmother, Leisa Bennet, heard a dog howling from the mountain. So she dashed over there, where she found Max, who led them to Aurora.

Despite being blind and deaf, the courageous dog kept Aurora safe during the entire ordeal! Aurora is alive and well thanks to his devotion. In the video below, learn more about this extraordinary story!
