Kris Robinson was at the head office of the Senatobia-Tate County Animal Shelter when she noticed someone peering through the window. It was a young man walking his dog. The destitute adolescent couldn’t find a suitable home for his dog and sought Robinson’s assistance.
Robinson could see how much they cared for one another and wanted to assist them. She allowed the man to leave his dog there until they could figure out a solution.
Robinson was moved by the situation, which saw the dog and her owner crying and separated. The generous woman shared their images and stories on Facebook to alert the community that they require assistance.
The reaction was quick since they were able to find a suitable location for the dog where the owner could readily visit his beloved pet while concentrating on his studies.
