The woman rushed down the steep hillsides for an hour, holding the 47-pound body of the passing Pit Bull in her arms. She was exhausted, but she refused to give up.
Andi Davis was out walking in Phoenix, Arizona, when she came upon a 2-year-old Pit Bull half-dead on a rock. She was astounded to learn that he had multiple bullet wounds and was also seriously bleeding.
Andi tried to give him some water, but she realized he was barely alive. So she ran down the slopes, clutching him in her arms. She dragged the 47-pound pet dog for an hour, frantically hoping he would withstand.
Andi brought the Pit Bull to the Arizona Humane Society for medical treatment. The veterinarians treated the pet’s open belly wound and removed gunshot fragments from his neck and spine. Andi stood behind him, encouraging him to fight back and live.
The Pit Bull was eventually able to pass because to Andi’s bravery! Andi chose the name Elijah for him and invited him to live with her. Elijah recovered quickly because he was lavished with care and attention in his new home.
