It was wonderful to hear of dogs who saved their owners. This time, however, it was up to the human to save the drowning dog. Honourable mention to the brave man who rescued this sad puppy.
The dog in the canal was discovered by a construction crew working on the irrigation canal in Canton Pasaje, Ecuador. Despite the rapid flow of water, the crew opted to assist the dog without hesitation.
One of the men leapt into the excavator’s bucket and was dragged down by the others. There was just one chance for the brave man. However, he behaved heroically and was able to catch the dog.
The brave man just managed to keep the slick hound under control until they reached the sand. This is another another courageous act demonstrating that people can still be kind to animals in need.
