After living in horrific conditions for 13 years, a little blind puppy was finally given a chance at freedom.
Rescuers discovered that the unhappy pooch had spent her entire life confined to a small dog shed and ignored. His rescuers were surprised he was still alive after 13 years because he wasn’t provided enough food, drink, or social interaction.
They were able to save the dog, named Bunny, and place him in a suitable place where he might live out his golden years.
After recovering Bunny, the first thing they did was give him little food. He ate his fill!
Then it was time for a check-up, where they discovered Bunny had ticks and fleas and needed “immediate medical attention.”
He was given a bath and was treated for his symptoms.
He eventually had to return to his foster family until a permanent family could be found for him. Bunny walked carefully on the grass during his foster mother’s description – he’d never been in a green place before.
Bunny’s life in his new home was brimming with possibilities. That’s not all, though. Bunny was promptly adopted by the rescuers and placed with a loving home in Croatia. Bunny has been adopted and is now living on his own.
