When this poor infant was finally saved, he was so sick that he couldn’t remember seeing a dog.
To say he was frail would be an understatement. Standing up was difficult for him because he was bloated and anemic. He was fatigued to the point of being unable to keep his eyes open. It would be a fight to save this dog’s life, but his rescuers were not giving up.
The veterinarians administered blood transfusions and IV nourishment to the dogs. His body was deficient in vital elements, including iron. His deliverer was aware of his precarious state and remained by his side just in case.
With no body fat, he struggled to stay warm, so his caretaker wrapped him in a thick fleece. He was content and steadily improving. It’s amazing what a little love and affection can do for a dog who has always been alone.
His condition began to improve as time passed. It’ll take time, but any steps ahead are steps in the right direction! He now has the energy to go for a walk and look around. He also makes new buddies. His new foster home is perfect for him!
His fur began to grow in after a month. He’s beginning to resemble a healthy puppy. He does certainly wag his tail and play. But the coolest thing about him is how joyful he is! His deliverer chose to take him in and shower him with all the affection he could ever want.
The puppy accepts a plush bear as his own and gladly carries it around while wagging his adorable tail. His growth astounds everyone who comes to see him. In just four weeks, he went from a living shell to a joyful, healthy puppy!
Medical attention is critical, but it is not always simple to come by, especially for stray animals in impoverished areas. We’re grateful that this puppy was rescued in time and is doing well with his new family.
