While on their way to a neighboring town to feed stray animals, two Diasozo Animal Rescue rescuers noticed something laying in the grass. So they got a closer look and discovered a poor puppy battling there!
The dog was severely damaged and could scarcely move! As a result, the rescuers took her to the veterinarian for an examination. The dog had various wounds around her chest and an old jaw fracture, indicating that she had been purposely harmed.
One of her eyes was also in such horrible shape that it required surgery, but they had to wait until she was strong enough. So she was prescribed pain medicine to help her relax and sleep.
The dog was fed by the veterinarians since she was too weak to eat or drink on her own. Thankfully, she had surgery a few days later, and it was thought that she would recover quickly due to her bravery.
During the first few days after surgery, the dog did nothing but sleep. She was then able to eat and sit on her own! She was almost ready to be placed in a foster home, but she chose to remain at the medical center to gain strength.
Fortunately, she recovered entirely and was adopted by a wonderful family who named her Honey! What a happy conclusion!
