Every day, many dogs are surrendered to high-kill shelters with little chance of adoption, so Tracy Whyatt stepped in and determined to help. Tracy founded Tracy’s Dogs in order to pursue her passion for rescuing abandoned dogs.
Tracy and her husband, Scott, transport dogs from overcrowded kill shelters in a 32-foot trailer to find them permanent homes in other states. They’ve teamed up with PetSmart to provide a gathering spot for the dogs and their new owners.
As you can expect, the first time the owners see their new puppies is both beautiful and heartbreaking. As the door swings wide, everyone rushes around the trailer, and tears begin to flow. Dogs, welcome to your new lives!
Tracy and Scott have adopted out over 3,700 pets since establishing their business! Most of these dogs would not have lived if it hadn’t been for them. Tracy’s Dogs is doing a fantastic job, and they deserve all of the praise they can receive!
