Dog lays on her canine friend’s grave as a kind gesture.
This wonderful dog named Gaspar went away from an illness lately in the warm presence of people who loved him most, after a happy life full with joy and affection.
“I appreciate all of the hours we spent together… “You will always remain with us,” Gaspar’s owner, Marcelo Rodrguez, wrote in a homage to his dog.
The most moving tribute to that cherished pet, though, required no words.
Despite the fact that Gaspar lived with Rodrguez, he spent many of his greatest times with Kaya, Rodrguez’s mother’s dog.
Rodrguez told The Dodo, “We would get them together on weekends to spend time together.” “That was the beginning of their friendship.”
The friendship between Gaspar and Kaya was clear in their never-ending flurry of wagging tails. But it was evident that their love was even deeper.
Unfortunately, like with all wonderful things, Gaspar and Kaya’s time together would come to an end.
Gaspar passed away earlier this month after a battle with kidney failure. Kaya was given the opportunity to say farewell to her old friend before his body was placed to rest in Rodrguez’s backyard, knowing how much he meant to her.
But no one could have predicted what came next.
Kaya sat atop the fresh pile of earth that would be Gaspar’s ultimate resting place, a final act of love for a soul she treasured so deeply.
“She spent the entire morning on top of his grave,” Rodrguez explained.
Although Gaspar is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in Kaya’s heart. Though not just in hers.
Kaya’s love act for Gaspar instantly went viral after Rodriguez published it on Twitter.
Many pundits were moved to tears when they heard the dog’s moving farewell homage.
Kaya’s visit to Gaspar’s cemetery was quiet, but it left an impression.
“Animals are superior entities that humans will never understand and that we do not deserve,” Rodrguez stated.
