As soon as he and Smith began working together, they forged an incredibly close connection.

He was overjoyed to have him as a roommate. He said that when the time arrived for retirement, he brought Bodza home that very day. When they were at home, their bond grew even stronger.
Before his diagnosis of degenerative myelopathy, which his body couldn’t tolerate, they had a wonderful life. Smith observed his dog in situations that he would never want another pet owner to witness.
So they made the decision to put him to sleep. Bodza died while being held by his owner, and many other things contributed to his demise. It was quite exciting, and he was fortunate to have his friends there to support him.
With a smile on his face, Bodza passed away. He was more compassionate than anyone could possibly be.
