Enzo is very similar to other Golden Retriever puppies in that he is friendly, goofy, and cuddly, but he stands out from the crowd due to a rare genetic mutation.
Enzo was born with a condition known as pigmented somatic cell mutation, which has given him a significant black spot (his “little freckle,” as his family refers to it) on the side of his face. Fortunately for Enzo, the condition only affects the texture of his skin and is neither dangerous nor harmful.
Luminous Retrievers are born with a basic black coat; their glowing look is due to a “mоdifiеr gеne.” That particular gene is absent from Enzo’s DNA, which accounts for some of his blank facial features.

Even though he appears a little bit different than other goldens, he isn’t that different on the inside. He enjoys playing and having fun with his parents. He is currently engaged in a tug of war.
Enzo’s freakiness isn’t the only thing that sets him apart. He is also very large for his age. However, he is still a pup within. I wonder if he got any more freckles. No, he has simply been playing in the mud!
