Most people who want to keep a pet at home pick a dog or a cat, but you seldom ever see people adopting large, wild animals like lions.
Even so, every living thing deserves our respect, love, and care. Anyhow, raising two lion cubs is a difficult job. But Michaela Zimanova, an animal lover with a large heart, had the guts to do it.
Two gorgeous lion cubs were born in Slovakia to the mom lioness, a former circus performer in Eastern Europe. Shortly after their birth, their mother rejected both of them.
These unfortunate occurrences frequently occur with wild animals kept in captivity. Being outside of their normal home causes them to lose their parental instinct and responsibility. However, the two cubs were rescued and found a console and a home they really needed, thanks to the wonderful woman Michaela.
Malkia and Adelle were their names. The small lion babies received Michaela’s love and care as she took on the role of their adoptive mother. But she had to move them to Malkia Park when they became older.
Both parties found the breakup to be difficult. The lionesses became close to their foster mother, and Michaela yearned for them terribly. She then made the decision to see them twice or three times every month.
And each time two lions encounter Michaela, they respond in the most endearing ways.
Adelle, four, and Malkia, four, run up to Michaela and give her a delighted hug as though they haven’t seen her in a long time.
After that, they play with each other for a while. Each time Michaela pays them a visit, this sequence is repeated.
The caring woman and the wild animals’ poignant reunion was captured by the park employees.
