A man named Vitor Mangino experienced the misfortune of having his car stolen while attending a party with his friends in Brazil. However, this unfortunate incident led to an unexpected and heartwarming outcome – a loyal four-legged friend.
“When I arrived at the place where I had parked, my car was nowhere to be found,” recounted Mangino, reflecting on the moment he realized his car had been stolen.
Vitor promptly reported the theft to the police and anxiously awaited their response. Shortly thereafter, he received a call informing him that his car had been located.
“The sergeant said they found my car and then asked if I had lost my dog. I replied, ‘No, just the car.’ He then said, ‘There is a dog on the roof of your car. He refuses to leave and won’t allow anyone near him.’ Hearing this gave me goosebumps for some reason,” Vitor Mangino shared.
When Vitor arrived at the specified location, he found the dog still perched on the roof of his car. Although he had never seen this dog before, it was evident that the canine was homeless. Approaching the four-legged friend, Vitor was greeted with a joyful tail wag, as if the dog had recognized him as its newfound owner.
Unable to leave the homeless dog behind, Vitor decided to take him home and gave him the name Heineken.
Despite the significant damage to his stolen car caused by the thieves, Vitor remained undeterred. He remarked, “I lost about a thousand dollars, but I gained a new friend. I am determined to make him the happiest dog in the world.”
