Three weeks ago, a puppy named Rocco was found in dire condition on the roadside in Seville. He was immediately taken to our hospital for treatment, suffering from four deadly infections: leptospirosis, anaplasmosis, leishmaniasis, and filariasis (commonly known as heartworm disease). Thankfully, Rocco’s health has significantly improved during his stay at our hospital, and we’re thrilled to share a positive update.
While witnessing Rocco’s recovery, we express our gratitude for the vital work carried out by animal rescue groups like ours, known as Spain, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating neglected, abused, and abandoned animals. Our rescue efforts are well-documented on Facebook and YouTube, where we showcase how we rescue, transport, and provide medical care to these animals.
The overwhelming support we’ve received from individuals worldwide fuels our commitment to helping animals in need.
However, like many other animal rescue organizations, we are facing financial challenges. This year has been particularly challenging due to the prolonged crisis in Ukraine, affecting the European economy and making it harder for people to donate to charities like ours.
Despite these difficulties, our determination to care for the animals remains unwavering.
